Crzy Goats is a small browser game. You can play without an account, a name or an email address. This page explains the little we store and what becomes public if you choose to post a score.
Saved on your device
Your stones, outfits, upgrades, field records, best levels, daily goal progress, streak and last goat name are saved in your browser so they are there next time. They stay on your device unless you download a save backup yourself. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Posting a daily score (optional)
Nothing is shared unless you press Post score. When you do, these become public on the shared daily leaderboard:
- the goat name you typed (please don't use your real name);
- your result: points, goats rocked, best chain and time;
- your route through the meadow, which other players may race as a "ghost".
Posted scores are kept as part of the leaderboard history. To have one removed, email us (see below).
When you start a daily challenge, the server issues a one-time ticket so a posted score can be checked. Tickets hold no personal details and expire after six hours.
Bug reports (optional)
If you use Report a bug or idea, we receive what you write plus a few facts to help us fix the problem: the game version, your level and game mode, the meadow you were on, your screen size, whether you use a touch screen, and your browser type. We don't receive your name or any account details. Please don't type personal details into a report. Reports are emailed to us and kept for up to 180 days. To have one deleted, email us (see below).
Your IP address
To stop spam and automated posting, the server limits how many ranked attempts, posts and bug reports can come from one connection. It does not store your IP address. It keeps only a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address and the date, which cannot be turned back into the address and is deleted after it expires (one hour for attempts, one day for posts).
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts the game and the leaderboard. Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver the pages. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is posting a score. It loads only when you open the posting form. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Google Fonts supplies the game's fonts, so your browser requests them from Google.
Crzy Goats on crzygoats.fun has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
Playing on CrazyGames
The CrazyGames version saves your progress through CrazyGames, so it can follow your CrazyGames account between devices, and CrazyGames shows its own ads. If you are signed in, your CrazyGames username is suggested as your goat name; it is only posted if you press Post score. CrazyGames' handling of your data is covered by the CrazyGames privacy policy. Scores you post there join the same daily leaderboard as above.
Contact and removal
To remove a posted score or ask a privacy question, email hello@crzygoats.fun. For a removal, include the goat name and the date of the run.
